Converus Issues Statement Supporting Ukrainian People
This lie detection technology company confirms it has suspended sales and use of EyeDetect to Russia or Belarus.
LEHI, Utah – April 7, 2022 – Converus joins other businesses and countries worldwide in condemning in the strongest possible terms the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces and the resulting loss of life. The lie detection technology company says it stands with the people of Ukraine and the global community in calling for an immediate end to this war and a swift return to peace.
As such, Converus has restricted Russia and Belarus, as well as any authorized distributors and service providers, from selling or having access to its EyeDetect lie detection technology.
“We’re immensely saddened by the tragedy that continues to unfold in Ukraine,” said Converus President and CEO Todd Mickelsen. “These actions by Russia are inhumane, unfortunate and inexcusable. On behalf of the Converus staff and our nearly 100 Converus Service Partners worldwide, we mourn with the Ukrainian people — especially those who have suffered the loss of family, friends and loved ones.”
