Converus Influences Future Business Leaders in Mexico
By Jeff Pizzino, APR, Corporate Communications –
Converus representatives presented a conference Nov. 7 titled, “How to Recruit and Keep Honest Talent,” to a group of business and finance students at the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico.
On the Agenda
Fernando Ferreira, the regional manager of sales for Converus, explained to the group of business and finance students the intricacies of developing an ethically sound employee base.
“Organizations today want to find and manage employees with integrity,” said Ferreira. “The costs of corruption and fraud are very high for companies today and these students need to learn how to address these issues before they influence the business world themselves.”
Making Introductions
Ferreira introduced the students to Converus’ feature product EyeDetect™, an ocular-based technology used to detect deception.
“Lots of these students will someday screen employees or applicants for jobs,” said Ferreira. “EyeDetect is the best new lie solution in the last 100 years and could be very useful to these students in the future.”
Investing
Even though these students don’t represent direct customers for Converus technology in the near future, Ferreira explained why the company thought it important to present this information to university students.
“These students represent the future of business and finance in Mexico,” said Ferreira. “They need to understand their options now so when they join the business world, they have the tools needed to run their companies with integrity. This improves the economy for everyone.”
