By Russ Warner, VP Marketing —

Converus CEO Todd Mickelsen demos the EyeDetect technology at the Congreso Internacional de RH expo in Mexico City.
Converus just returned from participating in the “Congreso Internacional de RH” (or “International Human Resources Congress”) expo Sep. 10-11. The event was held in Mexico City’s World Trade Center, located in the heart of the city.
The annual event, sponsored by the Mexican Association of Human Resource Directors, is attended by more than 4,000 director and VP-level HR contacts from government and private industry from Mexico and other countries.
Keynote speakers this year included Vicente Fox, former president of Mexico, Jorge Torres, president of FedEx Mexico, Gautum Mukunda, leadership expert from Harvard University, Jonas Prising, CEO of ManpowerGroup, and many other government and private enterprise leaders.
Attending from Converus were CEO Todd Mickelsen, VP Marketing & Operations Russ Warner, VP Sales Neal Harris, Regional Manager for Mexico and Central America Fernando Ferreira, Regional Manager for South America Pablo Barrios, and Channel Manager Jorge Oceguera.
Needless to say, EyeDetect — the latest technology in deception detection solutions – intrigued attendees. Numerous demonstrations of this new method were given in the booth to many potential customers. There was clearly a strong interest in how this technology can help keep their employees honest and protect their company’s assets.
Those who visited our booth received the following elevator pitch:
The two inventors of the digital polygraph, Drs. Kircher and Raskin, had searched for years for a more precise solution for pre-employment and periodic employee screening. After more than a decade of research and development, EyeDetect was launched this year. It’s more accurate, faster, less intrusive and more economical that the traditional polygraph test. Organizations of all sizes can now determine if candidates or current employees have a history of theft, fraud, bribe taking and/or drug use. It only takes 30-40 minutes to test applicants in the comfort of your own office or with a local service provider.
