This approach to the legal system has the potential to “turn the legal system upside down” because companies with enough monetary resources will be able to file lawsuits that hinder law enforcement procedures used to help the public
Changes in the Legal System
State prosecutors are concerned that ExxonMobil is disregarding the negative impacts they have on the environment, and Maura Healey, Massachusetts’ attorney general, has been investigating the issue. To counteract the investigation, ExxonMobil filed a lawsuit to stop Healey’s investigations. A Texas Federal Judge’s order has recently given permission to investigate Healey’s case, and the goal is to stop Healey’s investigation completely. EyeDetect will stop Corporate Fraud
EyeDetect is a great solution to stopping these legal occurances. If EyeDetect were used in screening those involved in these lawsuits, ethical concerns in company regulations would be solved quickly and easily. The problems created through the ExxonMobil lawsuit would be corrected efficiently, and the attorneys general would no longer be questioned for wanting to research ExxonMobil’s practices. Implementing EyeDetect will not only help corporations uphold their ethical standards, but will also save millions in dollars that are typically used in corporate lawsuits.
