Naga College Foundation in Philippines Acquires New Lie Detection Technology EyeDetect
Naga College Foundation’s criminology program will use EyeDetect as part of its lectures on lie detection technologies.

Teachers, administrators and students from Naga College Foundation in the Philippines were recently trained in the EyeDetect lie detection technology.
LEHI, Utah – Sept. 24, 2019 – Naga College Foundation (NCF) is the first collegiate institution in the Philippines to acquire Converus EyeDetect — a new computer-based lie detection technology that uses the eye behavior to detect deception. EyeDetect will be used as part of its criminology program.
“With the addition of EyeDetect, this college now has the most-advanced lie detection facility in the country,” said Express Order System (EXOS) Director John Exos Nulud. EXOS, a Converus Service Partner, signed up the National Bureau of Investigation as an EyeDetect customer earlier this year, making it the first government agency in the Philippines to adapt the new technology.
EyeDetect is a nonintrusive, scientifically validated lie detection technology that accurately detects deception in 15-30 minutes. It’s currently used by more than 500 customers in 40 countries in 40 different languages.
According to Nulud, EXOS plans to demonstrate EyeDetect to other government agencies, private investigators and clergy in the Philippines.
NCF, founded in 1946, has more than 2,500 students, faculty, staff and administrators. Its criminology program is considered one of the pioneering centers for criminal justice education in the Bicol region (one of the 17 regions of the Philippines). Its curriculum, the highest accredited criminology program in the Bicol region, prepares students for careers in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
