Converus and CASS Share EyeDetect Technology with Top Companies at Event in Monterrey, Mexico
Large employers Alfa, Cablevision, Chrysler, FEMSA, Home Depot, Heineken and others were intrigued at how EyeDetect can effectively pre-screen new hires and current employees for deception. Some traveled as far as Mexico City to attend this standing-room only event.

Major employers in Mexico learned during a presentation in Monterrey how EyeDetect’s technology can reduce workplace corruption.
MONTERREY, Mexico – Oct. 23, 2014 − Converus and its new Premier Service Provider (PSP), Consultores Asociados en Seguridad y Servicios S.A. de C.V. (CASS), held a standing-room only event Oct. 22 in the NH Hotel in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
Sixty-three people attended, coming from varied companies including Alfa, Cablevision, Chrysler, FEMSA, Home Depot and Heineken. Attendees came from the local market and surrounding cities; some even made the 550-mile journey from Mexico City to hear the presentation.
Converus VP of Worldwide Sales Neal Harris and Converus Regional Manager Fernando Ferreira presented an overview of the company and its flagship product, EyeDetect. EyeDetect technology monitors eye behavior as a means of detecting deception. According to Harris, many of the largest employers and governments in Latin America agreed to begin pilot testing EyeDetect within their organizations.
“I was thrilled to see the attendance and engagement level at these seminars surrounding EyeDetect,” said Harris. “I can see EyeDetect following a typical adoption curve for disruptive technology, with innovators and early adopters moving first to give their businesses a competitive advantage.”
Jorge Pedroche, owner of CASS, was introduced as the most recent PSP to join the Converus team in Mexico. CASS is located in Monterrey.
Attendees showed great interest in utilizing EyeDetect for pre-employment and periodic testing of current employees.
There is a wealth of potential markets for EyeDetect in Mexico. The country ranked 105 out of 176 countries in the 2012 Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index. Harris says EyeDetect is the perfect tool to help address this issue.
