Announcement of VerifEye App Wows CONNECT’23 Attendees
With the release of VerifEye, it’s now possible to verify the truth of individuals by having them take a five-minute test on their phone via this new mobile app.
LEHI, Utah – March 17, 2023 – The March 8 announcement of the release of VerifEye at CONNECT’23 — Converus’ annual conference — impressed, intrigued and delighted the hundreds of attendees from nearly 50 countries. VerifEye, a technology three years in development, now makes it possible for organizations or individuals to send a unique link via text message or email to anyone’s mobile phone anywhere, anytime, to self-administer a 10-minute test that can verify the test-taker’s truthfulness.
“Think about — creating a truth verification test that just takes minutes, doesn’t require special equipment or an examiner to be present, and can be taken anytime and anywhere in the world in practically any language is quite an accomplishment,” said Converus President and CEO Todd Mickelsen. “VerifEye suddenly makes verifying the truthfulness of a person a whole lot easier.”
Current credibility assessment technologies, including polygraph and Converus’ EyeDetect, have limitations or requirements the VerifEye mobile app doesn’t.
Some of the immediate feedback from CONNECT’23 attendees included: “Amazing!!!” “Great work, Converus!” “This is very cool.” “This will be another great tool in the box.” “A real gamechanger!” “This is great innovation.” “Incredible work!”
VerifEye is an app for iOS and Android phones. Potential users include corporations, government agencies, law enforcement, banks, insurance companies, security firms, and online marketplaces.
“VerifEye will have a far more wide-spread application and potential usage than current truth verification solutions,” predicts Mickelsen. “It gives organizations an inexpensive, instant and remote option for pre-screening job applicants for disqualifying behaviors, thus greatly streamlining the hiring process and potentially reducing workplace risk, theft and fraud.”
Mickelsen says other usage examples include financial services companies confirming a person’s identity or credit history before establishing a new account, loan or extending a line of credit; or online marketplace sitesverifying a professional profile prior to this individual interacting with a customer. In addition, dating websites can validate the truthfulness of a client’s personal profile.
